Can I send my $QUBIC tokens to my EVM wallets like Metamask?

Currently it's not possible, as Qubic is a complete new protocol with unique hardware requirements and works different than any other protocol. Qubic devs are working on interoperability solutions that will allow standard industry wallets to support Qubic in the future. Whether they implement Qubic for their wallet will be up to each wallet vendor.

The emission is 1.000 billion $QUBIC per week long epoch split between all 676 Computors (Validators) based on their network performance.

Why cpu mining?

In this case, it has been found that mining on the CPU is more effective. This is because the mining algorithm used benefits from the parallel processing of multiple CPU cores, resulting in higher efficiency.

What happens if my transaction isn't processed within the specified tick?

Every transaction includes the number of the tick in which it can be processed. If that tick has passed and the transaction hasn't been processed, it will need to be repeated. Unlike in other blockchain solutions, this feature prevents transactions from being pending indefinitely and ensures more predictability in the transaction process.
